Julie Tanpitukpongse joined Fameco Real Estate, L.P. in April 2008 as a SalesAssociate. In her role, Julie is actively involved in the areas of owner representation, retailer representation, and land disposition. She currently represents Walmart, Lowe’s and Wells Fargo in the disposition of their excess properties. On the retailer side, Julie represents a preferred developer for CVS as well as Colortyme and Kids First Swim. In addition, Julie specializes in assisting women-owned and minority-owned businesses find commercial space.
Prior to joining Fameco, Julie spent three years with Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust as the Assistant General Manager of Willow Grove Park. In addition, she has assisted in the redevelopment of the Plymouth Meeting Mall, an 800,000 square foot shopping center, which includes an addition of 200,000 sq. ft. for a Whole Foods, lifestyle wing, and three restaurants.
Julie serves on the board of the Women’s MBA Network where she co-chairs the MBA Initiative. She is also an executive board member of New Heart Ministries Inc. and the Philadelphia Multicultural Affairs Congress (MAC). Julie also serves as a dedicated committee member for a variety of other organizations such as the Asian Subcommittee of the Philadelphia Convention Visitors Bureau (PCVB), the International Council of Shopping Center (ICSC) Next Generation Program, and the Asian Mosaic Fund.
Julie received her BA in Psychology and Foreign Languages & Literature (Spanish Studies) Magna Cum Laude from the University of Delaware Honors Program. She also completed an MBA and a Masters in Finance from Drexel University. Julie is a member of ICSC. |
