Fred Younkin joined Fameco Real Estate, L.P. in January 2006 as a Senior Sales Associate
after relocating from The Shopping Center Group (2000 – 2006) in Hampton, Virginia. Fred brings broad experience to his position, with an extensive background in owner representation, tenant representation, tenant surplus disposition and sales in office, pad sites and retail real estate. Fred has leased more than 1 million square feet on behalf of institutional, regional and local entrepreneurial owners. Most recently, Fred completed the re-tenanting of Ashbridge Square, a 377,000 square foot regional shopping center in Downingtown, PA. Other re-tenanting ventures include: Knights Road Plaza (NE Philly), Kirkwood Plaza (Wilmington, DE), Warminster Square (Warminster, PA) and Staples Shopping Center (Deptford, NJ). Fred has completed tenant representation assignments for such retailers as: rue21, 5 Guys Burgers, New England Hot Dog Company, and Bank of America; Tenant surplus disposition assignments for such venerable retailers as: Advance Auto, SuperValu, Staples, Safeway, Circuit City, Franks Nursery, Levitz Furniture and Winn Dixie; and Owner representation assignments for: PRIET, Morris Companies, Pacific Crest Holdings & Pacific Home Holdings, Marx Realty, Time Equities, Oekos Management and J G Petrucci. An ICSC member since 2000, he served in the US Marine Corps from 1988 to 1994. |
