Jonathan Rome joined Fameco Real Estate, L.P. in August 2005 as General Counsel.  With almost 15 years of legal experience, Jonathan is a seasoned real estate attorney who contributes his expertise to Fameco on legal matters relating to retail leasing, property acquisitions and dispositions, financing, commission negotiations and general corporate governance.  In private practice he specialized in representing retail shopping center developers in connection with acquisitions and leasing and has negotiated the agreements of sale and leases for many of the preeminent power center developments in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.  Prior to joining Fameco, Jonathan served as Vice President of Development with Angeloni Development, LLC.  In this role he was responsible for coordinating acquisition and leasing efforts with brokers, landowners, engineers and tenants.   In addition, he coordinated site due diligence and permitting issues, supervised entitlement efforts and negotiated and drafted agreements of sale, reciprocal easement agreements and lease and sale agreements for ground-up “power center” and supermarket-anchored shopping center developments.  Prior to his work at Angeloni Development he served as Regional Counsel to JDN Development Company, Inc. and as Partner/Associate at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, LLP.  In his career, Jonathan has negotiated acquisitions and leases totaling over 7,250,000 square feet located around the country.  Jonathan received both his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from George Washington University. He is an active member of ICSC.
