Adam Kohler has been a licensed real estate broker since 1987 and has specialized in retail real estate for over 15 years. Adam joined Fameco Real Estate, L.P. as a Principal in March, 2004 by merging his firm, Kohler Group, with Fameco. As a landlord/seller agent, Adam has successfully represented property owners and developers in both the leasing and disposition of assets ranging from power centers to community and neighborhood centers to freestanding buildings. Also, he has represented national retailers in the disposition of company-owned and surplus property. In a tenant/buyer representation capacity he has represented Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club, Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Jared – The Galleria of Jewelry and A.C. Moore, among others. His comprehensive approach to tenant representation culminated in the expansion of multiple store programs across a broad geography of markets – Adam was actively involved in initial market penetration strategy, the site selection process, participation in site planning and engineering, negotiation of the transaction business terms, involvement in the governmental approval process and working with clients’ in-house and outside counsel through finalization of documentation and deal closing. Adam graduated from the University of Delaware and is an active member of ICSC. |
