Adam Kohler has been a licensed real estate broker since 1987 and has specialized in retail real estate for over 18 years. He joined Fameco Real Estate as a Principal in March, 2004 by merging his firm, Kohler Group, with Fameco.
Adam is Head of Fameco’s Landlord Leasing/Owner representation division. He has successfully represented property owners and developers in both the leasing and disposition of assets ranging from enclosed malls to power centers to community and neighborhood centers and freestanding buildings. Also, he has represented national retailers in the disposition of company-owned and surplus property. Recent projects that Adam has both overseen and had an active leasing role include the leasing of: Upland Square (Pottstown, PA), a 688,000 SF power center; The Shoppes at Crossroads (Stroudsburg, PA), a 135,000 SF community center; Cumberland Crossing (Millville, NJ), a 258,000 SF community center; Southside Mall (Oneonta, NY), a 238,000 SF mid-market mall; and Lebanon Valley Mall (Lebanon, PA), a 402,000 SF mid-market mall.
In a tenant/buyer representation capacity, he has represented Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club, Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Jared – The Galleria of Jewelry, AC Moore and Bed Bath & Beyond/Christmas Tree Shops, among others. His comprehensive approach to tenant representation culminated in the expansion of multiple store programs across a broad geography of markets – Adam was actively involved in initial market penetration strategy, the site selection process, participation in site planning and engineering, negotiation of the purchase/lease agreements, and involvement in the governmental approval process.
Adam graduated from the University of Delaware and is an active member of ICSC.
