Dawn DeCarlo joined Fameco Real Estate, L.P. in April 2003 as the Accounting Manager for the Fameco Management Services division. In January 2004 she was promoted to the Corporate Controller position overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial recording, reviewing, and reporting for both the Real Estate and the Property Management Partnerships. Dawn has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Philadelphia University and is currently obtaining her MBA from Saint Joseph’s University. She brings with her over 13 years experience in all aspects of Accounting, and specifically she has 8 years of experience in the Real Estate industry. Before coming to Fameco she was employed with GMH Associates located in Newtown Square, PA; it is a national real estate company that owns, develops, and manages real estate. She was employed as an Accounting Supervisor, working in the College Park Communities division overseeing up to 5 Staff Accountants and reviewing 20 individual property financial statements. In addition, as Supervisor, she was responsible for compiling Portfolio financial statements for the various Investors. Prior to working in the Real Estate industry, Dawn was employed by Synthes, a surgical implant manufacturer located in Paoli, PA, for 5 years. At Synthes she worked her way up through various Accounting positions, starting as an A/R Clerk and ending her employment there as a Financial Analyst looking to further her experience and opportunities. |
