Steven J. O’Malley joined Fameco Real Estate, L.P. in 1998 and is a Principal in the firm. Steve has twenty years of experience in retail/commercial brokerage. Prior to joining Fameco, Steve spent ten years as a Vice President at Metro Commercial Real Estate. His expertise includes tenant representation for retailers ranging in size up to 130,000 square feet; land acquisition for retailers and retail developers; anchor tenant leasing and owner representation. Steve has negotiated more than 500 lease/sale transactions totaling more than 10,000,000 square feet. In addition, he has completed multi-store expansion programs for retailers such as Target, Kohl's, Giant (Landover), and Best Buy. Other tenant representation assignments are highlighted by retailers such as Home Depot, Acme and TJ Maxx. Steve is one of the most active land brokers in the Philadelphia market having sold over 800 acres of land in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware in numerous transactions, including the recent sale of the 230 acre Garden State Race Track. Steve is the exclusive landlord leasing representative for a number of major retail developments throughout the region including the Market Place at Garden State Park, a +/- 530,000 SF retail center anchored by Home Depot and Wegmans. Steve is a graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz and is an active member of ICSC. |
