CALIFORNIA-BASED ANNA'S LINENS MAKES MAJOR PUSH INTO EAST COAST MARKET
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA.--Fameco Real Estate has been awarded the exclusive tenant representation assignment in the Delaware Valley for Anna's Linens, which operates more than 200 stores in 15 states, it was announced by Troy Peple, president of the retail real estate firm based in Conshohocken, Pa.
Based in Costa Mesa, California, the discount linens retailer is making a major push into the East Coast market and its first entry into the Delaware Valley, according to Fameco's Trupert Ortlieb and Gary Leone, who will be handling leasing transactions for Anna's Linens here. Currently, the nearest Anna's Linens stores are in Maryland.
"Anna's Linens has been a major player in its retail sector wherever it has located, based on the quality of its merchandise and its competitive pricing, and we expect that to be the case in the tri-state Delaware Valley area as well," Leone said. He described the typical Anna's Linen store as between 7,000 and 11,000 square feet, located within densely populated urban areas. The median household income of Anna’s Linens customers falls between $30,000 and $65,000.
