LARRY ZIPF NAMED PRESIDENT OF
FAMECO MANAGEMENT SERVICES
PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA.--Larry Zipf has been named President of Management Services at Fameco Real Estate, cited by Chain Store Age as one of the fastest growing third-party managers of retail properties in the U.S. for the last two years.
"Much of this growth has occurred since Larry joined Fameco as Senior Vice President, Owner Services, in July, 2005," said Brandon Famous, CEO and founder of Fameco. "His promotion is well deserved. Zipf has elevated Fameco Management Services to a nationally recognized player and to one of the top management companies in the retail sector. We are proud of his accomplishments and look forward to the continued growth of the Management Group under Zipf's direction."
Since joining Fameco from CB Richard Ellis, where he was the Managing Director of Asset Services for the tri-state region, Zipf has been instrumental in helping Fameco increase its management portfolio from 1.8 million s.f. to over 9 million s.f. Under his leadership, the group expanded its scope of services to include asset management on a national basis, construction services and due diligence services.
As a result, Famous said, Fameco now represents SCI, one of the country's largest tenant-in-common (TIC) sponsors, Stop & Shop supermarkets and a number of institutional and entrepreneurial clients.
A Villanova resident, Zipf graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Virginia. Earlier in his career, as a partner at Jackson Cross Company, he handled a real estate portfolio exceeding 16 million s.f.
Based in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., Fameco is the Delaware Valley's foremost real estate firm in the retail sector. Fameco specializes in retailer representation, owner representation, investment sales and management services in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and beyond.
The firm is the exclusive representative for 80 shopping centers and retail properties totaling 14 million square feet in the tri-state area and exclusively represents more than 75 retailers expanding in the Delaware Valley.
