FAMECO ANNOUNCES GROUND OPENING OF GIANT-ANCHORED SHOPPING CENTER

Plymouth Meeting, PA  — Fameco Real Estate, L.P., (“Fameco”) the region’s foremost full service retail real estate brokerage firm, is pleased to announce that The Shoppes at Crossroads  in Bartonsville, PA celebrated its Grand Opening on November 4, 2009.

A 76,000 square foot GIANT supermarket will anchor The Shoppes at Crossroads, a newly constructed shopping center at the intersection of Route 611 and Route 33 in Bartonsville, PA.  Developed by Tristate State Ventures, L.P. and Cedar Shopping Centers, Inc. and leased and managed by Fameco, The Shoppes at Crossroads is a 140,000 square foot regional shopping center that will serve both Hamilton and Stroud Townships and the surrounding markets. Joining Giant will be other national retailers including AT&T and Red Lobster.  According to John Fasciano, a principal of Tristate Ventures, “this area of the Poconos is an underserved market from a retail perspective. The demographics of the market are strong and the area is growing at a rapid rate. We have a great site that is well positioned in the market. Giant is a first class retailer and coupled with the other strong tenants that have signed leases, we feel we can make a positive impact on the community.”
