FAMECO NEGOTIATES LEASE FOR
PANERA BREAD IN SCRANTON, PA. CENTER
SCRANTON, PA.--Fameco Real Estate has negotiated a 4,235 s.f. lease for a Panera Bread bakery-cafe at the Shoppes at Montage in Scranton, Pa. Scheduled to open in March 2007, it will be the rapidly growing chain's 23rd location in the region.
Located off 1-81, the 300,000 s.f. lifestyle center owned by Anderson Real Estate is anchored by Christmas Tree Shops, Eddie Bauer and Gap.
According to Fameco's Rick Schuch, who represented Panera Bread in the transaction, four additional Panera Bread units are currently under construction in Trexlertown, Wynnewood and West Chester, Pa., and Cherry Hill, N.J. He said a total of 48 Panera Bread locations are planned for this region, in which Fameco is the chain's exclusive tenant representative.
