FAMECO NEGOTIATES PURCHASE OF SHOPPING CENTER IN HAZLETON, PA.

     HAZLETON, PA.--Fameco Real Estate represented the buyer in the purchase of the Hazleton Shopping Center in Hazleton, Pa., it was announced by Troy Peple, president of the Conshohocken, Pa.-based retail real estate firm. The price was not disclosed.

     Fameco's Dan Shabel, who represented Vanick Properties Inc., Westwood, N.J., in the transaction, said the 84,010 s.f. shopping center on West Broad Street is anchored by Save-A-Lot and Dollar Tree, along with Bank of America and Rent-A-Center. The seller was Hazleton Shopping Center Associates, LP.
