FAMECO NEGOTIATES SALE OF 18 ACRES IN HATFIELD, PA.

     HATFIELD, PA.--Fameco Real Estate represented the Estate of George S. Snyder in the sale of 18 acres in Hatfield, Pa., to Gambone Development Company of East Norriton, Pa., it was announced by Troy Peple, president of the Conshohocken, Pa.-based firm. The sale price was not disclosed.

     According to Fameco's Ron Cappello, who represented the seller in the transaction, the sale price was more than 10% over the initial asking price as a result of Fameco's aggressive marketing efforts. He said the property has been rezoned for residential townhouses. Fameco's Jon Kieserman represented the buyer. The property at 1700 Cowpath Road is a landmark in the area, operating as a home decorating center, with a hardware/lumber store, since 1884.
