ANNA'S LINENS OPENS SECOND STORE IN PHILA.
PHILADELPHIA, PA.--Fameco Real Estate has negotiated a 9,543 s.f. lease for Anna's Linens at the South Philadelphia Shopping Center, it was announced by Brandon Famous, founder and CEO of the retail real estate firm based in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
According to Fameco partner Trupert Ortlieb and Gary Leone, who represented Anna's Linens in the transaction, the Costa Mesa, Ca.-based discount linens retailer is making a major push into the East Coast market with plans for six to nine stores in Philadelphia County. Anna's Linens opened its first store in Philadelphia at the One & Olney Shopping Center, Front Street and Olney Avenue, in September.
In this latest transaction, Anna’s Linens joins anchors Bally Total Fitness, Shop Rite, Ross Dress for Less and Modell’s Sporting Goods at the 283,300 s.f. South Philadelphia Shopping Center. The center, owned by Cedar Shopping Centers, Inc., is located at 24th Street and Oregon Avenue.
