FIRST ANNA'S LINENS STORE TO OPEN IN PHILA.
PHILADELPHIA, PA.--Anna's Linens will have the grand opening of its first store in Philadelphia at the One & Olney Shopping Center, Front Street and Olney Avenue, on Saturday, September 23.
According to Fameco Real Estate, Anna's exclusive tenant representative in the Delaware Valley, the Costa Mesa, Ca.-based discount linens retailer is making a major push into the East Coast market with plans for six to nine stores in Philadelphia County. Fameco Partner, Trupert Ortlieb and Gary Leone are the Fameco brokers spearheading Anna's Linens’ store roll out in the region.
The new 10,000 s.f. Anna’s store joins anchors ShopRite, Modell's, Conway, Fashion Bug and Foot Locker at the 356,000 s.f. center at the intersection of Front and Olney. Prior to the Philadelphia opening, the nearest Anna's Linens was in Maryland.
"Anna's Linens has been a major player in its retail sector wherever it has located, based on the quality of its merchandise and its competitive pricing," Leone said. "We expect that to be the case in the Delaware Valley's tri-state area as well." He said the typical Anna's Linens store is between 7,000 and 11,000 square feet, located in densely populated urban areas.
