SHOPS AT 69TH STREET SELECTS FAMECO AS EXCLUSIVE LEASING REPRESENTATIVE
UPPER DARBY, PA.—Fameco Real Estate has been named the exclusive leasing rep for the 800,000 s.f. Shops at 69th Street in Upper Darby, Pa., it was announced by Brandon Famous, CEO and founder of the retail real estate firm based in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
Located adjacent to the 69th Street Bus Terminal in the area’s primary shopping district, the urban strip is anchored by Sears, Conway, Marshall’s, Staples, RiteAid and the Tower Theater. Famous said approximately 50,000 s.f. of space is currently available, in stores ranging in size from 1,500 to 25,000 s.f.
Fameco’s Jay Miller and Brett Miller will spearhead the leasing team for the project, which is the prime beneficiary of the 9.8 million shoppers who use the Bus Terminal annually.
Among the goals of the center’s owner, Ashkenazy Acquisitions of New York, N.Y., is revitalization of the area by supplementing existing tenants with quality regional and national retailers and restaurants.
